INVITATION TO SHARE
We will be organizing a day of Celebration for Peace and Interfaith Dialogue at Lauttasaari Church on Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 4–7 p.m., where will open the church doors to peace, community and dialogue. In this celebration for the whole family, different religions and cultures will meet over music, art and discussion, with the possibility to join a shared meal as well.
You are warmly welcome to participate, have fun and network with other 3rd sector actors and representatives of religious denominations. More detailed information about the program can be found on our website:

The event is free of charge. If you would like to participate in the meal prepared by Restaurant Levant (meal fee 10 €), you can send your registration directly by replying to this email: maria.siikala@evl.fi. Payment will be on the day 4th Oct, by card or cash.

✨ Panel discussion: What role can an individual play in building peace at 4–5 pm in the church hall

✨ Music performance by the Middle East Music Company (led by opera singer Matti Turunen). Performance in conjunction with the panel
✨ Pieces of Peace community art workshop led by illustrator Claudia Varjotie at 4:30–6:30 pm in the Church Café
✨ Shared meal at 5–6 pm in the church hall. Middle East flavours by Restaurant Levant: lentil soup, coffee, sweets. €10/adults, €5/children 3–12 years old and under 3 years old free.
